One of my favorite and most fun times of the year is the evening of my birthday. It's on the 20th of December, a few days before Christmas when all the lights are up throughout Albany. After a phenomenal meal consisting of fried chicken, mashed potatoes, green peas, and a coconut cream pie with coffee; we all cram into the van and begin our journey critiquing the current year's lights. It's an absolute blast!Being able to act silly and laugh uncontrollably with friends and loved ones is a great joy in life. Think about it! Raising up the next generation of revivalists is very important to WellSpring Fellowship. We view our children as powerful instruments of God. The same power that raised Christ from the dead lives in the hearts of believers, including children, and this truth compels us to train our children to be powerful world changers. Biblical teachings on heroes of the Bible are couple with instruction on the gifts of healing and prophecy to equip our children to do mighty works for the Lord.

What is SOZO?The Sozo ministry is a unique inner healing and deliverance ministry in which the aim is to get to the root of those things hindering your personal connection with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. With a healed connection you can walk in the destiny to which you have been called. Sozo is a Greek word meaning Save, Heal, Deliver.Salvation- "...you shall be saved(sozo)." Romans 10:9Healing- "...at once the woman was made well (sozo)." Matthew 9:22Deliverance- "...the man who was demon-possessed had been made well (sozo)." Wellspring School of Supernatural Ministry (WSSM) is a two night a week school designed to equip students of all ages to live a supernatural lifestyle. Our curriculum has been formulated by Bethel School of Ministry in Redding, CA which emphasizes hands on training and experience along with academic understanding. The school provides an atmosphere where students are able to practice what they are learning in a safe place. Students will be expected to take risks and will begin to gain confidence and experience in an environment of passionate worship. Boldness, passion and risk are part of our core. Students will be encouraged and empowered to step out in their dreams and destines to which God has called them. They will be encouraged to bring Heaven to Earth.Along with learning in a classroom setting, students will also learn through homework, reading the Word, outreach, personal soaking and prayer times, and serving on ministry teams. The school has a culture of freedom without a lot of regulations. Students will learn about personal responsibility and accountability. Standard of ConductStudents will seek to "be imitators of God" with "not even a hint of sexual immorality, or any kind of impurity", living as "children of light" and finding out "what pleases the Lord" (Ephesians 5:1-2). This standard governs our personal and public life.AttendanceStudents are expected to attend classes regularly and punctually. The maximum number of absences per semester is four. Exceptions to this policy will be made only for extreme circumstances and emergencies.Student DisciplineThe freedom of the WSSM environment requires a high level of self-management. Any student struggling to make wise choices will receive quick and direct cofrontation, which is designed to help draw out the greatness within the student. Our staff and pastoral team are trained and empowered to apply strength and grace in whichever areas necessary of students' lives.WithdrawalAny student who wishes to withdraw from WSSM must arrange an appointment with a WSSM pastor to discus the reasons for withdrawal. John and Cindy Thalheimer have been called to the mission field as the first missionaries sent out from Wellspring. They completed the first year of Wellspring School of Supernatural Ministry which reinforced their desire to help orphans and minister to the lost.John and Cindy then headed to Africa in June of 2011 to attend Harvest Mission School with Iris Ministries (Heidi & Rolland Baker) in Mozambique Africa. Harvest Mission School is a hands-on, in-the-dirt evangelistic training school in Pemba, Mozambique which focuses on practical, Holy Spirit led ministry to those who desperately need God and His Kingdom. School outreaches took them to Myanmar and Thailand. In Thailand they worked with NightLight. NightLight is an international organization committed to addressing the complex issues surrounding trafficking and prostitution by catalyzing individual and community transformation. NightLight's vision is to offer intervention to sexually exploited women and children, to enable them to discover their dignity, and to provide a program of holistic transformation, empowering them to live and work in their community. One avenue is making very nice jewelry. To learn more go to NightLightinterntional store. The Thalheimers have been invited back to Pemba, Mozambique to volunteer with Iris Ministries to assit with the orphans and hospitality. They are looking for monthly sponsors, if you would like to make a monetary donation to help with the cost, it would be greatly appreciated. There are also items that they will need to be sent to them while they are there. If you would like to purchase one or more of these items, please click here for the list. Broken Arm Healed

Josiah had broken his arm in three places at a football game and was facing surgery. Prayer at WellSpring on a Sunday morning brought immediate healing and caused doctors to be amazed, and canceled the surgery.

Josiah has had full use of his arm ever since.

Hip and Knee Healed

The mother of a member in our church had tremendous difficulty walking, going up steps and pivoting in certain directions due to hip surgery for a broken hip and knee. She was prayed for and immediately was able to move, walk and go up steps way beyond what was possible minutes before.

Knee Healed

A man was prayed for during "Happy Hour" for a painful knee that had given him trouble for some time. The pain went away immediately and he was able to function on it fine with only a little soreness from now walking normally!

Back Healed

A member of our church attended our Friday night "Happy Hour" and received prayer for his back. He had a generative disc problem that had been in existence for a long time. He was prayed for again that Sunday becoming pain free. His doctor took x-rays and said his discs were fine and that he had the back of a 25 year old. He is waiting for some old x-rays to document this amazing miracle. Now, that's awesome!

Foot and Back Healed

A young girl came to church with crutches and a boot on her foot. She had a broken foot. She got prayer and her foot was totally healed. She walked on it, jumped up and down, no longer needing crutches. Her doctor said he did not need to see her any more.

That same morning her dad received prayer for a disc in his back. He was instantly healed and able to bend down and touch his toes which he had not been able to do in years. He was totally amazed over what happened.

Tumor HealedJon recently saw an unbelievable miracle. A customer at his bank shared with him she was facing surgery for a tumor in her back. She was shaken by the doctor's prognosis that it was serious and possibly life threatening. Jon walked this lady to her car, then told her how much God loved her, and asked if she would be willing for him to pray for her. She gratefully and eagerly received his offer, Jon prayed against the tumor, declaring there are no tumors in heaven, and God would make her whole.A few weeks later, the lady came to Jon and told him how meaningful it was when he told her of God's phenomenal love for her. Then she said when the doctors went in, they found a totally dried up tumor that was hollow inside. The doctors were amazed and unsure of what had happened, finding what looked like a dried up plum instead of a lethal tumor. Her long diagnosed recovery turned into hardly any recovery time at all.Thank you, God for Your awesome love and power to deliver her from such a serious threat to her health and life.

Wendy Backlund, along with her husband Steve, is from Bethel Church in Redding, CA. Wendy and Steve have a unique ministry that ignites passion, joy, victorious mindsets and healthy relationships. They minister a message of hope, vision and faith; as well as imparting keys for effective, joy-filled leadership. They were senior leaders of renewal churches from 1991 to 2008 (Round Mountain, Nevada, and Weaverville, CA). The Backlunds travel regularly ministering to churches and leadership teams. They have authored numerous books, including Igniting Faith in 40 Days, Victorious Mindsets, You’re Crazy If You Don’t Talk to Yourself, and Let’s Just Laugh About That. Faith Blatchford has been involved in ministry for over 30 years. She is a licensed pastor with a Bachelor's Degree in religion from Vassar College as well as a graduate from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry and Worship. She travels in the US and abroad teaching and preaching. In addition, she is a deliverance/inner healing minister at the Bethel Church Transformation Center in Redding, California. As a regional director of Bethel Sozo, an inner healing/deliverance ministry, she does Basic Sozo Training as well as teaching on the Prophetic and Prophetic Deliverance in Advanced Sozo Training. Her desire is to see people encounter and connect to the presence of God whether through he 5 instrumental CD's she has released, her book Soaking 101, or through prophetic ministry.
